the holidays

My grandparents came to town for thanksgiving and I got to spend some quality time with my grandpa Bill Harris. One thing I learned from our time together is that joy is timeless. Even thou he is 55 years older than me we can laugh together and feel the same joy inside our souls. I think that's pretty incredible.

One day while he was here we did the dishes together and hes hard of hearing so we just did them silently next to one another it was kind of a magical moment for me as I only see him once every four or five years so I didn't want to take any moment for granite. I wonder if I'll ever have a moment like this with my grandchild. It was really special to me that I got to take his picture my other grandpa died before I had a chance to.

Then came christmas... which I spent in depoe bay. The ocean too is timeless to me just like joy :)

This is my mom. Isn't she beautiful!? She's taught me so much in my life and gave me an abundance of love :) And she's a pretty good photographer too as she shoot the two shots below ;)

Now christmas is over and a new year has begun. Today I turn 24 with a new year and new job I am eager to see where it will take me. I know its going to be great even better than the last one which was incredible. Happy New Year to all of you I hope its as great as mine is going to be ;)

  1. Well, hello Aaron's heart;) This is a
b-e-autiful post. Your heart is just gushing all over the place in this one. The shot of your grandpa in the kitchen...I could totally see the whole story you had told me when I saw these shots. The picture of your mom...priceless!!! You are such a little carbon copy of her inside and out. She is so stunning and I would dare to say, she may not even know it;) Happy b-day my friend. This world is a better place with you in it shining brightly!
