awakening

The world is so different to me now then it once was. So much bigger so much more to explore so much more beauty than i had once imagined. And so much more real which is a great thing but also at times scary. More and more I am realizing the beauty of life. Life is poetry in motion and my footsteps carry the poem forward. I am exactly who I am supposed to be and where I am supposed to be. A friend once told me "You have to learn how to swim before you enter the rapids. If you go in before you learn you'll have too much fear to push through." Well Im learning to how swim and its wonderful. I am enjoying being me. Life is beautiful. Rain or shine. Just thought I'd share that with you today :)

Did a shoot for these two wonderful people my sis in-law and my friend Amber for there band Everly a little while back and here are a few of my favorites.. Pretty pleased at the outcome. They are really talented musicians and all of you should totally check them out. Thank you to my friend and mentor Kathy for all the help and studio use :) you're the best!

There some amazing about hanging out with a bunch of photographers who just want to grow and learn spend all day creating. No fear just fun :) Kathy organized this outing to help us grow in our passion. Thank you Kathy! It was a great day and environment and i got to share it with Andre, Bianca, Amy, Tasha, and of course Kathy. And they all are good looking which made them great models ;) Thank you guys for a great day and environment to be in.

the Rock

Last month I think my friend Richard (rock) asked me to do a shoot with him for his new website. It was a lot of fun we went to sauvie island and did some beach shots some corn field shots and then some studio at my friend Kathy's. thanks Kathy :) I've known Richard for about 10 years hes a great friend, excellent actor and amazing drummer in the band Enation. So here are a few shots from that day.. I'll post more latter.

I had the privilege of shooting Janeane Marie's spring clothing line last week with the lovely Heather modeling it and here are a few shots from it. Thank you Kendra for the awesome makeup and hair! You rock! This was my first "fashion shoot" and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you BMAC for the studio. You also rock! :) And thank you KATHY! for all of your wonderful help, guidance and wisdom you bestow apon me :))) You rock the house!! lol...

Dostoyevsky says the soul is healed by being with children, and I think that's absolutely true. I had the chance to snap a few pics of my friends kid C and had a wonderful time doing it. He's so full of joy and energy and a pleasure to be around. Thanks C for the fun time :)
